The new carpet looks GREAT! And they are finished - less than three hours! The last guys from [competitor], took all day and had to work late into the night.

We've had carpet put in three times and other flooring put in two other way and these two were by far the best, quietest, hardest working - not even one break! Clean - didn't smell of smoke. Polite. And left everything as they found it. And the carpet looks better than the last berber!

They were really terrific! As Chris has been - he was our contact for another job at our new house and we had an emergency with a water heater in our current home. One week prior to closing! He returned my after hours call, was here early the next morning and was able to get the carpet installed 24 hours later. And the price was very reasonable - with better service than we've ever had before! I don't think there are many flooring companies who are able to do that and even less who are willing to try!

It's been a trying three days for me - and I really appreciate the customer service we received from your company!

Very friendly service. Price on exact same tile was $400-$600 higher at big box stores.. also ended up getting vinyl floor tile while we were there. Allowed us to mix and match various samples until we found the ones we were happy with.

I wanted to take a minute today to send out a note about a carpet installer that you have working for you. I am a self employed designer that works in the Columbus area. I do all of my work on the side and during my time off from my full time job. I had the pleasure of working with Bob on a job that I am working on in the Short North. It was a complicated job that involved an original set of stairs (old and in bad shape) that we decided to install wraps on all of the risers and runners. Bob was concerned from the start about how everything was going to come together and decided that he wanted to be involved in the process to insure the most perfect installation. Because of this unusual process, we had to re-schedule Bob (thru Amber) about 5 times! Every time he said that it would not be a problem and that he wanted to check the progress of the work to see how it might change things for his part in the job. He met with me on his own time at least 3 different occasions on the job site to track the progress and give his opinion. On the final day of the stair work being completed, I called Bob to re-schedule him for the install only to find out that he was booked! I needed to have the job finished before the weekend because my client was having a party and wanted the work completed. I knew that after all that time and effort on his part that I did not want anyone else but Bob to do the install. He called Amber and they had some jobs moved around so that he could do the install on Friday afternoon. The stairs and the runner are beautiful! The client was so pleased about the finished product (4 month's in the making) and Bob was an absolute pleasure to work with. I am so pleased that he was scheduled for this job. In the future I will recommend Bob for any install that i know of and I will continue to us him and the rest of the crew at America's Floor Source for any of my design needs. You all are a great team to work with from start to finish. Please see attached photos of the finished product!

BAKERS CARPET EXPERIENCE

We had discussed for many years that we needed to replace the carpeting in our home.  It was a process that we knew would be involved both in the decision portion as well as in the installation.   We were not looking forward to it but we made the decision that it was time to move forward.  We felt confident that we wanted to go with America’s Floor Source, so we planned a trip to the East Showroom. 

We were welcomed immediately and we certainly had no idea of the choices that were going to be available to us.   It seemed slightly overwhelming with all the different types of carpeting, different companies, different colors, different pile, etc.  We weren’t certain where to begin.  To us it was not like buying a dozen eggs and we both felt confident that this would probably be the last purchase of carpet we would make for our home.  Further, we were totally aware that this would not be the biggest sale for Americas Floor Source, but it was quite a major purchase for us. 

Throughout this process, everyone was very accommodating to both our questions as well as our needs.  We felt valued as a customer during the decision making process and we felt confident that this would continue throughout the process.  We were correct.  We finally made a selection of carpeting and we scheduled a date for installation. 

On the date of installation, we had been advised that we could expect the installers around 7:30 AM.  It was 7:30 AM on the dot.  A young gentleman came to the door.  He inquired to where the carpet was to be installed and seemed to make quick mental notes of the areas.  He was accompanied by another gentleman.  Both were quiet, polite and got right to work.  After a short time, a third gentleman arrived on the scene.  He too portrayed a level of professionalism that gave us continued confidence in our decision. 

Throughout the day, all three kept working.  Very little conversation was made between them and we were more and more delighted as the day progressed.  At lunch time, we made the offer to go get them a sandwich.  All were very polite that it wasn’t necessary, but when we said we were going there anyway and would be happy to bring them something, they gave the nod that they appreciated it.  When we returned with lunch, they finished their tasks at hand and they took their lunch to the installation truck.  We said they were welcome to eat on the deck or in the kitchen, but they said they were fine. Their lunch break took about 15 minutes and they were quickly back to work.  They continued through the afternoon with their duties and they maintained a polite, presence. 

Upon the completion of the installation, it was yet another confirmation that we had made a great decision.  All the furniture was moved back to the appropriate room and it was obvious that great care had been taken to try to place it back in the original position from where they had moved it earlier in the day.  They had vacuumed each room, taken their trash to their truck and left us with a neat and clean home. 

In conclusion, we are thrilled with our purchase and we wonder why we put it off for so long when America’s Floor Source made the whole process easy.  Many friends and neighbors have stopped by to see the new carpet.  We have told them all of our delight and we know that 2 have already been to the showroom.

I truly appreciated Chris Miller’s insight when it came to selecting a color. He told me how colors will look lighter when rolled out and he was so right! I am so happy I didn’t go LIGHTER as I would have been unhappy with my selections! Very professional and courteous. Having not purchased new carpet for this house in the past, he was extremely helpful.

Now to the installers…aaahhh…the installers! ☺ They were very professional, yet down to earth guys. They tolerated my three kids being in the house which was a big plus, but more than that they worked very efficiently, cleaned up after themselves and even offered to vacuum my new carpet!
